Children's Ministry  - AWANA

AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2Tim. 2:15) and is an interactive, fun, scripture memory focused kid's program. It is designed for kids of all ages. We are using four classes:  Puggles, Cubbies, Sparks, and T-n-T. 

Puggles is a toddler class where kids learn simple concepts about God. They spend a lot of their class playing, singing, and doing crafts. Puggles is a great way to introduce even the youngest to God’s great creation. 

Cubbies is our pre-school class   for 3 and 4 year olds. It involves workbooks, group memorization; take home practice, puppets, crafts, songs, and much more. Your pre-schooler with look forward to Cubbies each week.

Sparks is for K-2nd grade.  These young school-aged children get a chance to exercise their minds as they memorize verses weekly to earn “jewels” for their “golden crown” pin they wear on their red vests. They also get the benefit of sound Biblical teaching through weekly Bible lessons. 

T-n-T stands for Truth in Training. This 3-6th grade class steps up a notch from Sparks with more intense memorization but they still get the same great Bible lessons. 

Each AWANA class strives to come along side parents' teaching at home by providing tools to bring parents closer to children. As they practice together everyone is brought closer to God as we keep His word in our hearts.
