Fall Carnival Nights
Jun 10, 2009
We're tossing around the idea of starting up Family Game/Carnival Nights, beginning in the fall and taking place probably once a month. The idea is to create an environment with carnival games, board games, crafts, food, etc where people can bring their kids to just hang out and get to know other families.
The goal would be to create a presence here in the downtown community, and to reach out to those who live here and those who work here, in addition to reaching out to the families in our own lives.
This would take some commitment from you guys, and so we're wondering: What do you think?

Hey i was just wondering if you (whoever is brainstorming this idea) did any market research in to the community to see if there is an interest in this sort of thing. Like talking with the local family assistance programs. I would hate for the church to invest big bucks into blow-up rides and such to have there be little response from the community.
i hope i'm not coming across as just being negative, i just feel like i don't know how this idea came about in the first place, or what's actually being planned for it.
