Thanks for checking out our site!
We welcome you to join us Sunday nights at 5:30pm. We meet at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Duluth (300 E 2nd St).
FAQ's:
What should I wear to
church?
Whatever is comfortable. Most people dress pretty casual here -
jeans, T-shirts, sweaters, etc.
What time should I arrive?
The service begins at 5:30, and most people arrive right about then (or 5
or 10 minutes earlier). Following the service, we have coffee and treats, and
people usually stick around till about 7:30.
Is there childcare?
Yes, there is a nursery for infants up to 18 months, a toddler room for
children 18 months to 3 years, and Kids' Church for children 3 years to 7
years. Children attending kids' church should sit through the first part of
the service with their family until they are dismissed after the first music set.
Their class runs through the end of the service and then they are supervised in
the gym until 7:30, so you can get a cup of coffee and chat with people after
the service.
Please arrive a few minutes early to sign your child in to the nursery and/or kid's church. You and your child will be given a numbered tag, to ensure that you are the only one able to pick them up after the service. We love our children here at Rock Hill and have made many efforts (including background checks on all our volunteers) to ensure their safety.
What do you believe?
Check out our doctrine page.
What is your
relationship to 1st Presbyterian Church?
We are not a part of 1st Presbyterian Church even though we meet in their
building. We are two churches occupying the same facility. We rent
the facility from them which helps them out financially and keeps our costs
lower so that we can invest more money in ministry rather than buildings.
Is Rock Hill affiliated?
Yes, we are part of the Evangelical Free Church of America and the Acts 29 Network.
